Opening my eyes to see a strange world unbeknown
I look upon the desert, alone, I look to the sky
Approaching me a storm coming from the north
A cloud of fire descends, a great light then comes forth unto me

and fire breaks the earth
a voice of thunder speaks to me
calling ‘Do not to be afraid

Then I fell into the earth
Falling beneath the ground below
Enshrouded in the darkness, alone
Am I going to die?
Am I ever going to escape out of here?
The walls are closing in

before I suffocate!
then the light comes to free me
from the prison of the dead!
Then the moon rises to watch above
dancing with the sun
then the two become one within
Lifted from the ground
I look down as,
I begin to fly
Rising higher to touch the sky above
Ascending t’wards the heavens
Soaring past the clouds on high
arriving to a kingdom in the skies
then I hear a great sound
the sky starts to crack
everything fades to black
unto me are given three scrolls of fire
then I heard the voice speak
Follow the signs!

Chained to the ground,
I try to move but I am still held and bound,
all around I see dancing shadows that surround,
and they laugh at me, taunting
Deep below the Earth in the dark
born to bear the mark
How long have I been here, watching as I slowly die
I can’t survive, I must break free before I die
Trapped below, chained to the ground, I try to move
What are these chains that tie me down?
The demon inside me, I call his name: I am Fear!
I can’t break free
Someone help me
Wake me up from this living nightmare!
Lost inside my mind
Will I ever find a way out of here,
lest I find my fear,
Set me free!
I rise above, set free from my chains
Now I see so clear; the demon’s name is fear

Beyond the dark surrounding lies ahead a light (Feels safer here)
Beyond the past once known I set upon my sight (Under the shadows)
Crawling from the womb of the Earth, I rise above from the deep (don’t leave me here)
Conceived in this virgin birth, I wake from my dying sleep (don’t go to the light)
I open my eyes to see what lies ahead,
what hides ahead,

Open my eyes to see a burning light in the sky,
So bright and blinding, the light consumes me alive
Shivering as the night falls, I must turn back,
Back to my safety, back to the dark
Stumbling through forest, so weak and exposed,
helpless fetal body, gnaw the umbilical tether,
Alone save the moon, I turn to her
Turn to her, my Athena
She silently whispers to me: “you must let go”
As I walk upon the path, I see a reflection upon the water,
a stranger staring back at me
Turn back, you will surely die,

Go back, you were safer there
I can’t take it anymore!
Give up, there is nothing left

Awake to a distant land
Among a strange and wonderful world
I feel a presence come over me,
I see a great shadow over me
I look to the sky and behold
a city of sapphire and gold
a city seated on the clouds
to then I hear a great sound
A sound that breaks my bones

A thousand trumpets sound
the gates have opened unto me
and a voice of thunder speaks
“Come through the gates”
Taken up in a chariot of fire
Lifted from the ground, taken higher
Carried by the hosts to the kingdom
passing through the gates as a pilgrim
I see the snake on his throne
but I dare not look in his eyes
(he calls me by name, speaking without words)
but I can’t turn away
completely powerless

Then he stares into me
his eyes of fire consuming
paralyzed by his gaze
